Nestled in the city centre, Kabannas Newcastle offers modern rooms and is just a 10-minute walk from Quayside and Newcastle Central Station. Manors and Monument Metro Station is a 2-minute walk away. The position was great. The Bar was great place to hang out of an evening. The rooms were good. The staff were friendly, excellent.

Situated in the heart of Newcastle city centre, Albatross Hostel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, a free house safe and a laundry service. Cant say enough about the staff here. All of them were super friendly, helpful and down to earth. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Sometimes hostel dorms feel like caves, but the one I stayed in here was very spacious and airy which I really appreciated. Common room had complimentary tea, coffee, toast and jam! The location is perfect. Its easy to walk from the train or coach stations, to the Tyne waterfront, St James' park and the city center.

I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but instead I got a whole room to myself which was comfy. The bathroom was very clean. I think the bed was quite small for a single room but overall I was satisfied for a budget hotel.
