Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. There are water taxi options to transport to another beaches, and I recommend that over driving if driving is not your forte, and you want to party.

One suggestion for improvement would be to seek recommendations from the property representatives for renting a motorbike, as this may lead to more cost-effective options compared to direct rental. On arrival, we were given a 10 minute briefing on the hotel and Mykonos Town and surrounding areas. This was really excellent as it gave us some ideas for things to do. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk and is located up from Mykonos Town on a steep hill.. expect a 10-15 minute walk into town. It had a good size balcony, a mini bar and a very comfortable bed. The hotel provides a very good breakfast with lots of cold and hot options. They also will cook you snacks on demand which are reasonably priced and tasty. There is a large pool and we never had problems getting a sun bed.

You are literally steps away. space was impeccable, shout out to the best nights sleep in Greece! the restaurants are very expensive, so we ate out once a day. The grocery store was close, so we shopped there for breakfast and lunch. Grocery store prices way more reasonable than the US.
