Milele was a special experience for my husband and I, and it will have a piece of our heart forever. The property is beautiful and the villas are really nice. Great breakfast and all the staff super friendly. All communication are on whatsapp and it is super easy. They got me in touch with á company that put together á great daytrip to prison island and Nakupenda. 100% recomend and hope to go again some day!

Perfect when you want just chill and do nothing at all. Very polite, good English, understandable and fast. Thanks Theo for everything you did!♥️ You are big credit for this place. Good Room. Very good soft bed linen, soft towels, bathroom amenities. Big plus for a coffee machine and tea with little snacks. Good choice in mini bar. Tropical Shower is very special...good pressure of water and Soft towels make you feel great! Very sweet to have a commitment on turn down Service. Thanks. Nice sound of the Ocean and birds in the morning. And of course food-great portions, tasty, fresh and on time. Breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommend 👌🏼 go there and feel special 👍🏼

Baladin is a truly spectacular place to stay, offering a charming ambience and marvellous service from staff, this place is a wonderful way to experience the many delights of zanzibar. Upon arrival I was greeted with a welcome drink, warm smiles from staff and a stunning view of the ocean, followed by a great introduction to our room from staff (Romana) who was so helpful during our stay. Our room was spacious and clean offering all the amenities of a high quality hotel while remaining with the classic zanzibar style that flows beautifully throughout the hotel. The dinning was also excellent, the food was top quality and very reasonable prices, Abdul was a great server, very friendly and helpful. And lastly, the management, Nicole and her family were so accommodating with all of our requests, from helping us book excursions to letting us extend our stay, they were very helpful! I would absolutely recommend Baladin as a place to stay, the beaches are stunning (and quiet!) the staff is wonderful, and it offers an atmosphere to truly relax and enjoy zanzibar!

The villas are very spacious and has everything you will need and more for a comfortable stay. We never had any issue at all. We loved that it is very traditional and open yet still offers high level of privacy. I was a bit worried about the open bathroom initially, but this was a non-issue. The bed was the biggest bed we’ve ever seen but also very cozy and comfortable. We loved the small pool in the villa terrace and the beds/loungers just outside the villa where you can just laze the day away or just stargaze at night. The villas were also cleaned daily and there is also a turndown service at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly - not in an intrusive way but in a very discreet, polite manner. The big common pool was also amazing, we spent a lot of time here to just chill and enjoy. The beach/sea was also fantastic - it’s not really a beach where you get a wide sandy beach - but in that way it is unique - we loved both when it’s high and low tide and the transition in between. When it’s high tide, the views from the villas or from the restaurant is amazing and the sounds of the waves are soothing, but when it’s low tide then you can go for a walk, see birds, and just explore that stretch of the coastline. In between the high tide and low tide when the water is not too high and just starting to recede, you can just sit by the sea and enjoy the views which are magnificent. Food as well is amazing. We were not served anything that we did not like and the portions were big enough. The all inclusive package was well worth the price - you get any food or drink you wish for, anywhere in the property (or even outside as we went for a tour very early morning and requested for our breakfast to be packed and the staff very happily obliged) and at any time of day. There is a lounge area in the restaurant hut where it is also very nice to relax and drink wine and read a book.
